TUNXI /China/, March 30. /TASS/. The meetings with representatives of other countries that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held in China’s Tunxi on Wednesday highlighted common approaches to global developments, as Lavrov himself told reporters.
"In today’s talks with members of the group of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries, we saw, heard, and confirmed our common approaches to current developments on the international stage," he pointed out.
According to Lavrov, a multipolar world order is being formed. "In this reality, a single power won't rule but the key states, which currently have a decisive impact on the global economy and global politics, will need to make agreements," the Russian top diplomat noted.
He emphasized that such countries ensured the foundations of the United Nations Charter, including the commitment to an equality-based approach to international relations. "No one on this earth should be viewed as a secondary player. Everyone is equal and sovereign," Lavrov concluded.
