The Ukrainian military fired more than 140 munitions of various types towards various populated areas in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on Thursday, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukrainian war crimes said early on Friday.

"Over the past 24 hours, the mission reported 39 shelling attacks by Ukrainian armed groups," the mission said in a statement. "A total of 142 munitions of various types have been fired."

The attacks involved 155mm, 152mm and 122mm artillery munitions.

Five people were wounded in these attacks. Among them is a teenage girl, born in 2007.
