ANKARA, January 17. /TASS/. Russian cargo ship sank off the Turkish coast in the Black Sea, the Anadolu news agency reported on Sunday.

The incident occurred near the Bartin Province in northern Turkey.

Turkey is carrying out an operation to rescue 15 crew members of the sunken vessel, Bartin Province Governor Sinan Guner said. "At the moment there is no data on the deaths. The rescue effort is complicated by bad weather conditions," he said, according to the news agency.
