MOSCOW, March 21. /TASS/. Bashneft’s net profit under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for 2024 amounted to 104.7 bln rubles ($1.24 bln), marking a 41% decrease from the previous year’s 177.4 bln rubles ($2.09 bln), the company reported.
Revenue from sales and joint ventures for the reporting period reached 1.14 trillion rubles ($13.47 bln), reflecting a 10.8% increase, while total costs and expenses amounted to 1.005 trillion rubles ($11.87 bln)
Pre-tax profit stood at 136 bln rubles ($1.6 bln), down from 208.56 bln rubles ($2.46 bln) a year earlier, while operating profit declined to 137.19 bln rubles ($1.62 bln) from 194.2 bln rubles ($2.29 bln) in 2023.
Bashneft is an oil company operating in more than 20 regions of Russia and abroad. It specializes in oil refining and production, with key operations in Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, the Nenets Autonomous District, as well as the Tyumen and Orenburg regions. The company’s shares are traded on the Moscow Exchange. Rosneft holds a controlling stake in Bashneft, while the Republic of Bashkortostan owns 25% plus one share.
