MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Russia is interested in attracting high-skilled professionals, including fellow citizens abroad, President Vladimir Putin said at a Q&A session combined with his annual press conference.

"As a rule, they [fellow citizens abroad] are high-skilled professionals. We are interested in attracting high-skilled professionals in particular to make sure they work and live here," he said.

For doing this a special program has been developed in Russia, though, "probably, not everything works efficiently so far," Putin said, adding that it is necessary to improve mechanisms.
