MUMBAI, November 11. /TASS/. Russia and India consider the possibility of exporting joint products to third countries, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov told reporters, adding though that now the two countries focus on satisfying the demands of the Russian and Indian markets.
"At the moment the majority of joint projects are still focused first of all on satisfaction of demands of our countries’ markets. <…> Russia and India are among the world’s largest economies with the fast-growing domestic demand. In the future we obviously consider exporting products to third countries," he said.
For doing this Russia and India have everything necessary, including industrial and technological potential, investment resources and logistics infrastructure, Manturov added.
He mentioned the Middle East, Africa, South and Southeastern Asia among the regions for potential export of joint products. "In those directions it is possible to use competitive advantages of our countries not only for export of jointly developed and created products to new markets but also for implementation of investment projects," the official said.
