Growing prices on commodity markets to support Russian exports — Central Bank chief

Russian exports are recovering after the drop early this year, Elvira Nabiullina pointed out

MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. An improvement of the situation in the global economy prompted the rise in prices in commodity markets, which will support Russian exports in its turn, Central Bank chief Elvira Nabiullina said at the press conference after the regulator’s Board meeting.

"The situation in the global economy continued improving both in the sphere of services and in the industry. Prices in commodity markets started growing as a result, which will support Russian exports," she said.

Russian exports are recovering after the drop early this year, the Central Bank chief said. The recovery took place owing to the rise in oil prices, Nabiullina noted, adding that secondary sanctions constrain this process.
