Glock was born in Vienna in 1929 and founded his company in 1963

VIENNA, December 27. /TASS/. Austrian firearms manufacturer Glock said that its founder Gaston Glock has died at the age of 94.

"Our founder, Gaston Glock not only revolutionized the world of small arms in the 1980s, but also succeeded in establishing the GLOCK brand as the global leader in the handgun industry," the company said in a press release.

Glock was born in Vienna in 1929 and founded his company in 1963.
