Russia, China stress importance of reaching agreements on Power of Siberia 2

BEIJING, December 19. /TASS/. Heads of Russian and Chinese governments have discussed the issue of implementation of the Power of Siberia 2 pipeline project, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said, adding that the sides noted the importance of reaching agreements as soon as possible.

"Yes, the issue was discussed by government heads. They stressed the importance of the project. It is currently at the stage of approval by companies, on terms of agreement. They stressed the importance of reaching [agreements - TASS] as soon as possible," he told reporters.

Russia supplied more oil to China in the first 10 months of this year than during the whole last year, Novak added.
