Preliminary Russian GDP growth in Q3 reaches 5.5%

Earlier, Rosstat confirmed the preliminary estimate of Russian GDP growth in the Q2 of 2023 at 4.9% in annual terms

MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Russia's GDP growth in the Q3 of 2023, according to preliminary estimates, amounted to 5.5%, according to Rosstat data.

When calculating GDP dynamics, industry statistics indicators were used, which revealed an increase in output in the following types of economic activity: wholesale trade turnover - by 22.9%, retail trade turnover - 11.3%, manufacturing - 10.2%, construction - 8%, passenger turnover - 6.3%, agriculture - 3.4%, water supply, sanitation, waste collection and disposal organization, pollution elimination activities - 3.4%.

Earlier, Rosstat confirmed the preliminary estimate of Russian GDP growth in the Q2 of 2023 at 4.9% in annual terms. Compared to the Q1 of 2023, GDP grew by 8.6%. Russia's GDP for the Q2 of 2023 amounted to 39.39 trillion rubles ($438.35 bln), according to the first estimate of Rosstat.
