Russian air agency chief says air service with Myanmar, South Korea, Algeria to be opened

It is highlighted that currently Russian air carriers fly to 34 countries

MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Russia may open air service with Myanmar, Mongolia, South Korea, South Africa, Algeria and a number of other countries this year, Head of the Federal Agency for Air Transport Alexander Neradko said at a roundtable at the Federation Council (upper house of parliament) on Thursday.

"The opening of air service with Myanmar, resumption of flights to Vietnam, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea this year is under development. Russian airlines are considering the possibility of starting flights to African countries, such as Ethiopia, South Africa, Algeria, Tunisia, other countries," he said.

Currently Russian air carriers fly to 34 countries, Neradko added.
