RosGeo 2022 profit hits five-year high surpassing $7 mln — chief executive

RosGeo is the largest geological holding in the Russian Federation that performs all types of geological prospecting and exploration activities

MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. Profit of Russia’s geological holding RosGeo amounted to 559 mln rubles ($7.2 mln) in 2022, hitting a five-year record, Chief Executive Officer Sergei Gorkov told a news conference on Wednesday.

"I should say that the company’s profit hit a five-year record as audited profit that has already been officially unveiled, stood at 559 mln rubles, which is more than in 2021," he said.

Fixed investment totaled 6.5 bln rubles ($84 mln), Gorkov added, noting that the investment program for 2023 might reach up to 3.5 bln rubles ($45 mln).

RosGeo is the largest geological holding in the Russian Federation that performs all types of geological prospecting and exploration activities. RosGeo is a fully state-owned company.
