MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. The price of gold rose above $1,900 per troy ounce during Monday trading on the US-based Comex exchange for the first time since February 9, 2023, according to trading data.

The gold price reached the peak level of $1,904.9 per troy ounce. By 3:33 p.m. the price of gold was up by 1.91% at $1,902.8 per ounce.

As of 3:40 p.m., the gold price was up by 1.87% at $1,902.1 per troy ounce.

Meanwhile, the price of silver was up by 5.1% on Comex at $21.55 per troy ounce.
