EAEU to hold talks on free trade zone with UAE, Indonesia in early spring

Alexander Pankin noted the constructive mood of all interested parties

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) demonstrate constructive mood on the creation of a free trade zone with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin said in an interview with TASS, adding that the sides would hold talks in early spring.

"Within the framework of cooperation with Indonesia and the UAE I would like to note the constructive mood of all interested parties, due to which the decisions to start negotiations were taken quite fast," he said. The first rounds of consultations with partners from the UAE and Indonesia are planned for early March and late March or early April, respectively, Pankin added.
