MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. Avtovaz plans to produce the first experimental batch of E-Largus, as well as restart the production of Largus with an internal combustion engine in 2023, Head of Avtovaz Maxim Sokolov said on Wednesday.

"We are not only thinking about the prospects for launching Lada Vesta, but we also plan to restore the production of Lada Largus next year. And not only in its classic configuration with an internal combustion engine, but also with an electric motor unit," Sokolov said. "Next year, we will probably confirm the possibility of producing the first experimental batch, which is extremely important," he added.

He added that, unlike many other projects of electric vehicles that were presented, E-Largus is the only truly domestic and highly localized car.
