Russian-Uzbek trade to reach $8.5 bln by yearend — Russian minister of industry

Tashkent hosted a meeting of the Russian-Uzbek intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation on Sunday

TASHKENT, October 23. /TASS/. Russia’s trade with Uzbekistan is expected to reach 8.5 billion US dollars in 2022, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said on Sunday.

"Obviously, it will be higher than last year because the growth has already reached 37% We hope for approximately 8.5 billion US dollars by the end of the year," he said, adding that trade between the two countries was 5.3 billion US dollars in January-September, or up by 37%
