Russia ready to redirect volumes from Nord Streams via Turkey to Europe — Putin

As the Russian leader said, such decision is "economically feasible" because the security level will be much higher

MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Russia is ready to redirect supplies from Nord Stream gas pipelines to the Black Sea if partners are interested in it, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday at the Russian Energy Week forum.

"We can transfer the lost volume of transit along Nord Streams, on the Baltic Sea bed, to the region of the Black Sea. To make therefore main routes of supplies for our fuel, our natural gas to Europe via Turkey, creating the largest gas hub for Europe in Turkey. Certainly, if our partners are interested in that," the President said.

Such decision is "economically feasible" because the security level will be much higher, Putin noted.
