Nord Stream 2 AG to start gas pipeline survey after completion of police investigation

Gazprom earlier informed about pressure stabilization and termination of gas leaks from damaged points of the Nord Stream and the Nord Stream 2 pipelines

MOSCOW, October 4. /TASS/. Nord Stream 2 AG, the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline operator, will start the pipeline survey after completion of the police investigation and removal of the cordon, the company’s press service told TASS.

"Copenhagen police are handling the investigation of the crime scene at the Nord Stream 2 leak in the Danish EEZ [Exclusive Economic Zone - TASS]. The Swedish coast guard has cordoned off the area around the leak in the Swedish EEZ," the company said.

"Nord Stream 2 is cooperating with all relevant authorities and will perform its onsite surveys to assess the condition of the pipelines once the police investigation of the crime scene is completed and the cordon is lifted," the gas pipeline operator added.
