Supplies of Russian fertilizers to Brazil continue — Ambassador

It is stated that anti-Russian sanctions adversely affect trade processes between the countries

ST. PETERSBURG, June 16. /TASS/. Deliveries of Russian fertilizers to Brazil continue, despite difficulties with logistics and payments due to sanctions, Ambassador of Brazil to Russia Rodrigo de Lima Baena Soares told TASS on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Thursday.

"Since we have excellent relations with Russia in the trade sphere and supplies [of fertilizers] continue, I do not see reasons to look for them in a different place. We continue receiving fertilizers from Russia," the Ambassador said.

Anti-Russian sanctions adversely affect trade processes between the countries, especially in respect of logistics and the payment system, but these difficulties have been largely managed to be overcome for the time being, he added.
