KAZAN, May 31. /TASS/. The US corporations and banks have already established control over a portion of the European gas market, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev said on Tuesday.

The US is using the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to solve a range of their political and economic tasks, the official said.

"US corporations and banks, implementing sweeping expansion in Europe, have already established their control over a segment of the European gas market," Patrushev noted.

"The inflow of the US capital has also increased to the sector of semiconductors and other high-technology branches," he added.
