Russian Agriculture Ministry suggests temporary rice export ban until December 31, 2022

Temporary restrictions will not apply to exports to EAEU member-states and to supplies for international humanitarian aid to foreign states on the basis of decisions of the Russian Government

MOSCOW, May 27. /TASS/. The Russian Ministry of Agriculture suggests a temporary rice and rice grits export ban from July 1 to December 31, 2022. The relevant draft decree of the government was posted on Friday on the federal portal of regulatory drafts.

"The temporary ban on export of rice (Code 1006 of the Eurasian Economic Union’s Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity) and rice grits (Code 1103 19 500 0 of the Eurasian Economic Union’s Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity) to be set from July 1 to December 31, 2022," according to the draft decree.
