MOSCOW, May 27. /TASS/. Particular attention should be paid to food security support in the Eurasian Economic Union amid the challenging global situation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

"I consider important to continue paying special attention to issues of food security support," the Russian leader said.

"The challenging situation is evolving" globally, the head of state said. "Our countries are making a very serious contribution into solution of these problems and Russia, and all other members of our organization behave themselves responsibly to the highest degree," Putin added.
