Greater arms supplies for Russian army to help defeat Kiev regime — Medvedev

Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council stressed that supplies of all types of weapons and military equipment will increase significantly in 2023

MOSCOW, February 2. /TASS/. Increased arms supplies to the Russian Armed Forces will allow for inflicting a crushing defeat on the Ukrainian neo-Nazis, said Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, while visiting the A. Ya. Bereznyak Machine-Building Design Bureau Raduga on Thursday.

"Our armed forces regularly and in full receive various types of missiles," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel following the visit. At the design bureau, Medvedev saw samples of modern missiles, including the Kh-69 new-generation cruise missile and the Kh-59MK missile.

"Supplies of all types of weapons and military equipment will increase significantly in 2023. This will allow for inflicting a crushing defeat on the Ukrainian neo-Nazi authorities," Medvedev emphasized.

Earlier, Medvedev stressed the importance of maintaining high rates of arms supplies to the armed forces. In January, he visited other defense enterprises: the plant of the Kalashnikov concern in Izhevsk and the 61st armor repair plant in St. Petersburg.

In December, Medvedev was appointed by the president to the post of first deputy chairman of the Military Industrial Commission. Later, he announced the creation of the commission’s working group for the control of the production of weapons in demand.
