Activist says Ukraine increased number of drones used in Zaporozhye Region

It was noted that there are drones of the intelligence gathering type but most of them have suspended improvised explosive devices

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia civil society group, on Tuesday said Ukraine is using more drones than ever over the engagement line in the Zaporozhye Region.

"Whole armadas of drones with suspension items. They are sent in larger numbers than ever before," he told TASS. "They have dozens of new drones."

Rogov said there are drones of the intelligence gathering type but most of them have suspended improvised explosive devices.

Rogov said earlier that the situation on the engagement line in the Zaporozhye Region is tense, but under control, and all attempts by the Ukrainian troops to break through are repelled. He said clashes constantly occur in the Pologovsky and Vasilyevsky districts, where sabotage and reconnaissance and assault groups try to explore the area.
