Post-Soviet security bloc to meet in Yerevan in 4th quarter of 2022 — Secretary General

The Collective Security Treaty Organization was chaired by Tajikistan in 2020-2021

DUSHANBE, September 16. /TASS/. CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas announced the next session of the Collective Security Council (CSC) in the fourth quarter of 2022 in Yerevan.

"The next session of the Collective Security Council will, of course, take place in the fourth quarter of next year," he told reporters at the end of the CSC meeting in Dushanbe on Thursday.

Stanislav Zas noted that the Republic of Armenia will be the country chairing the organization in the next intersessional period. "Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has presented the priorities to the Collective Security Council, which are to be implemented during this period, implying the main areas our organization should focus on next year. They will be described in the relevant plan for the implementation of the CSC’s session decisions and the priorities of Armenia as well," he informed.
