MINSK, March 5. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko commended the current US administration’s steps to resolve military conflicts.

"Well done (the United States - TASS). Well done, [US President Donald] Trump - he has often been saying and even doing something so that the war in Ukraine can stop and the war in the Middle East can stop, too," BelTA quoted the Belarusian leader as telling US blogger Mario Nawfal in an interview. He also praised Trump’s policy course toward stopping the war as a stellar idea.

According to Lukashenko, "no one could have imagined" such fast shifts in relations between the United States and the other world, including between the United States and Russia. "But one person who took the risk to do this, Donald Trump, put it all right very quickly. Let's hope so," the Belarusian president said.
