TEL AVIV, November 25. /TASS/. The IDF is ready to resume the military operation in the Gaza Strip unless the Hamas releases the second group of hostages before midnight [1 a.m. Moscow time - TASS], Israel’s Channel 13 reported citing a security source.
"If the Hamas fails to release the hostages by midnight, we might return to maneuvering in the Gaza Strip," the source said.
Meanwhile, Channel 12 reported citing its political source that Israel denies all allegations of violation of the hostage release deal.
"This is Hamas’ attempt at propaganda. Israel has fulfilled all obligations. Hamas is embarrassing the mediators in Egypt and Qatar," the source said.
On Saturday, the Hamas military wing announced a decision to postpone the release of the second group of Israeli hostages, demanding that Israel fulfills the agreement regarding the entry of trucks carrying humanitarian aid to the northern part of the strip, and begins complying with the agreement on release of Palestinian prisoners.
Shortly prior to the publication of the statement, Al Hadath reported that the movement has already commenced the handover of hostages to the International Committee of the Red Cross. According to the IDF, the group was supposed to include 13 Israelis.
