It is reported that the Ukrainian side blows up civilians, shells the city’s center

DONETSK, August 23. /TASS/. The Kiev regime is using terrorist methods and should be punished, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said commenting on the shelling of downtown Donetsk by Ukraine’s armed forces which resulted in deaths among civilians and damaged buildings, including his administrative building.

"The criminal Ukrainian regime <...> is using terrorist methods. They (the Ukrainian side - TASS) blow up civilians, they shell the city’s center, this happened today, literally just now," the DPR leader said. "In general, I think that the criminal Ukrainian regime should be justly punished," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

On Tuesday, downtown Donetsk was shelled by Ukrainian troops. Shells directly hit the DPR head’s administrative building as well as a hotel where journalists are staying. According to Donetsk Mayor Alexey Kulemzin, on Tuesday, three people were killed in the bombardments in the city and, according to his information, six were wounded.
