Kazakhstan’s president to meet with Putin in St. Petersburg June 17

Kasym-Zhomrat Tokayev also to hold bilateral meetings with the President of Tatarstan and head of the Republic of Bashkortostan

NUR-SULTAN, June 16. /TASS/. President Kasym-Zhomrat Tokayev, who arrived in St. Petersburg on Thursday, will meet with Vladimir Putin tomorrow, the Kazakh leader’s press office said.

"Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev arrived in St. Petersburg to take part in the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum at Vladimir Putin’s invitation," the press office said in a statement. "The program of his visit will round off with a bilateral meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin."

Earlier on Friday, Tokayev will hold bilateral meetings with President Rustam Minnikhanov of Tatarstan and head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rady Khabirov. Tokayev will also take part in a SPIEF plenary session, the statement said.
