MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. There will be no coal-fired power generation in conclusion of the conflict in Ukraine, director of the Ukrainian center for energy studies Alexander Kharchenko said.
"The situation with thermal generation of electricity is poor. It has already become clear that there will be no coal-fired electricity generation in Ukraine in conclusion of the conflict," he said in an interview with the Ekonomicheskaya Pravda news outlet.
The loss of thermal power plants means disconnection of consumers across the country in winter and in July - August at the least, the expert noted. "Constraints will definitely be in other seasons but it is impossible to measure the scale more or less accurately so far due to objective reasons," he added.
