Russian forces entrap Ukrainian troops near Svatovo in LPR — military expert

Ill-thought-out command and control of Ukrainian troops has demoralized enemy forces and increased the number of desertions among its personnel in that frontline area, Andrey Marochko said

LUGANSK, November 26. /TASS/. Russian forces have entrapped a Ukrainian combat group near Svatovo in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS on Tuesday.

"Our troops have successfully advanced, placed the Borovaya-Svatovo motorway near Peschanoye under their physical control, improved their positions near Raigorodka and achieved other operational-tactical successes, thus denying the Ukrainian armed formations the possibility to deliver materiel, ammunition and replenish losses near the settlement of Nadiya. Our military command has actually created a destruction pocket for the entire Ukrainian combat group in that area, which has led to mounting enemy combat losses," the military expert said.

Ill-thought-out command and control of Ukrainian troops has demoralized enemy forces and increased the number of desertions among its personnel in that frontline area, he added.
