MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. Russian troops liberated the community of Kopanki in the Kharkov Region over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday.

"Battlegroup West units liberated the settlement of Kopanki in the Kharkov Region as a result of decisive operations," the ministry said in a statement.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted roughly 115 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy tank in its area of responsibility in the Kharkov Region over the past day, the ministry reported.

"In the Kharkov direction, Battlegroup North units inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 116th territorial defense brigade and 5th border guard detachment of Ukraine’s Border Guard Service in areas near the settlements of Lebedevka and Kazachya Lopan in the Kharkov Region," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 115 personnel, a tank, a motor vehicle and a 122mm D-30 howitzer, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicted roughly 440 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed three enemy ammunition depots over the past day, the ministry reported.

Over the past 24 hours, Battlegroup West units "inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 43rd, 44th and 67th mechanized, 25th airborne and 115th territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Kupyansk, Senkovo, Lozovaya, Zagoruikovka and Novoplatonovka in the Kharkov Region and Ivanovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repelled five counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 115th and 116th mechanized, 3rd tank and 119th territorial defense brigades," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 440 personnel, a tank, an armored combat vehicle, five motor vehicles and a Polish-made 155mm Krab self-propelled artillery system, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed an Anklav-N electronic warfare station and three field ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted roughly 485 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy armored vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup South units improved their frontline positions and inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 23rd and 54th mechanized and 10th mountain assault brigades in areas near the settlements of Konstantinovka, Dachnoye and Slavyansk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repelled three counterattacks by formations of the Ukrainian army’s 79th air assault and 46th airmobile brigades," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 485 personnel, an armored personnel carrier, an armored combat vehicle and two motor vehicles, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed a field ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted more than 450 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed six enemy artillery guns in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Center units kept moving deeper into the enemy’s defenses and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 151st mechanized, 68th infantry, 38th marine infantry, 14th National Guard and 132nd territorial defense brigades near the settlements of Grodovka, Dachenskoye, Mirolyubovka, Dimitrov and Pravdovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repulsed nine counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 100th and 117th mechanized and 35th marine infantry brigades and the Lyut assault brigade of Ukraine’s national police," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to more than 450 personnel, a tank, five motor vehicles, a 203mm Pion self-propelled artillery system, a 152mm Msta-B howitzer, two 152mm D-20 howitzers and two 122mm D-30 howitzers, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted roughly 125 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy tank and two artillery guns in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup East units gained more advantageous positions and inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 33rd mechanized, 127th and 241st territorial defense brigades near the settlements of Razliv, Komar and Oktyabr in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 125 personnel, a tank, six motor vehicles, a 155mm Bogdana self-propelled artillery system and a 152mm Akatsiya motorized artillery system, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicted roughly 60 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy electronic warfare station in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 103rd, 124th and 126th territorial defense brigades near the settlements of Olgovka, Molodyozhnoye and Nikolskoye in the Kherson Region," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 60 personnel, two motor vehicles and a 122mm Gvozdika motorized artillery system, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed an Anklav-N electronic warfare station of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia strikes Ukrainian UAV launch sites used for attacks on Zaporozhye nuke plant

Russian forces struck Ukrainian UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) launch sites used for attacks by kamikaze drones on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, the ministry reported.

"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck infrastructure of military airfields, control posts of unmanned aerial vehicles used by the Ukrainian army for launching attacks by kamikaze drones on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, and also amassed enemy manpower and military equipment in 135 areas," the ministry said.

Russian air defenses down 71 Ukrainian UAVs, six smart bombs over day

Russian air defense forces shot down 71 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and six Hammer smart bombs over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Air defense capabilities shot down six French-made Hammer guided aerial bombs, a rocket of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 71 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, including 56 UAVs outside the special military operation area," the ministry said.

No one hurt in Ukrainian bombardment of Energodar near Zaporozhye nuke plant

No one was hurt in the Ukrainian army’s shelling and drone attacks on Energodar near the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, the ministry reported.

"Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military carried out five bombardments and three attacks with quadcopter-type unmanned aerial vehicles against the settlement of Energodar and the territory adjacent to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. No one was hurt in the provocation and only an administrative building was slightly damaged," the ministry said.

Russian air defense systems destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic warfare stations jammed another UAV, it specified.

The staff of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant continues to work in normal mode, providing maintenance to NPP facilities and monitoring the radiation levels, it said.

Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 649 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 36,719 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 surface-to-air missile systems, 19,508 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,492 multiple rocket launchers, 18,562 field artillery guns and mortars and 28,739 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
