Putin shares his views on third round of Moscow-Kiev talks with Israeli prime minister

The Kremlin pointed out that the Russian president and the Israeli prime minister agreed to continue dialogue on the issue

MOSCOW, March 8. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin told Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in a phone conversation on Tuesday about his assessments of the third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine held on Monday, the Kremlin said adding that the phone call was requested by Israel.

"They touched upon various aspects of the situation with regard to the ongoing special military operation carried out by Russia to protect Donbass. Vladimir Putin shared his assessments of the third round of talks between the Russian delegation and representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, which took place in Belarus on March 7," the statement said.

The Kremlin pointed out that the Russian president and the Israeli prime minister agreed to continue dialogue on the issue.

Since the beginning of Russia’s special military operation to defend Donbass, Putin and Bennett have already held four phone conversations, with the previous three taking place on February 27, March 2 and 6. On March 5, a meeting between the Russian president and Israeli prime minister was held in the Kremlin, when they discussed the situation in Ukraine.
