Russian swimmer Yulia Yefimova disqualified for 1 year and 4 months for doping

GENEVA, May 13. /ITAR-TASS/. The anti-doping committee of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) has disqualified Russian swimmer Yulia Yefimova for a year and four months for using doping.

The FINA head office in the Swiss city of Lausanne has considered the issue of a positive doping test of the Russian athlete.

She is disqualified from October 31, 2013 until February 28, 2015.

Yefimova, the bronze medalist of the London Summer Olympics in 2012 and three-time world and European champion, confirmed that she had taken feed additives that contained the banned substance.
