TYUMEN, April 3. /TASS/. Six children were killed in the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall, Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova told reporters.
Earlier, five kids were reported dead.
"We currently have data on six children who were killed; another seven suffered injuries. Two have been discharged from the hospital to receive outpatient care, while five remain hospitalized. Two of them are in serious condition and three are now in fair condition. I have visited the kids and I am in constant contact with the chief physicians. The children have everything they need and the prognosis is positive," Lvova-Belova said.
The Russian city of Tyumen is hosting the 22nd National Congress of Commissioners for Children's Rights on April 3-4. The event was initiated by the presidential children’s rights commissioner with the support of the Tyumen Region’s government. Ombudspersons from across the country will take part in a panel discussion and research workshops and will also visit regional organizations to learn about the new practices of supporting families.
