Putin will not hold any impromptu talks with foreign leaders after attack on Kremlin

"So far, there are no international contacts on [Putin's] schedule until May 8," Dmitry Peskov noted

MOSCOW, May 4. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has not planned any additional talks with foreign leaders in the wake of the drone attack on the Kremlin, press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday.

"The President does not have any conversations [with foreign leaders] in his plans right now; the next international contact at the moment is Russian-Kyrgyz negotiations as part of a working visit [by Kyrgyz President Sadyr] Zhaparov to Russia. We are expecting this visit, preparing for it," the Kremlin spokesman said.

"So far, there are no international contacts on [Putin's] schedule until May 8," the spokesman added.

Earlier it was reported that on May 8-9 Zhaparov plans to visit Moscow, where he will hold talks with the Russian leader. The head of the republic also intends to attend the Victory Parade on May 9.

On May 3, Kiev attempted to use two drones for a night-time strike on the Kremlin residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the presidential press service said earlier. The military and special services promptly disabled the enemy vehicles. Putin was not harmed and continues to work as usual. The Kremlin said the attack was a premeditated act of terrorism and an attempt on the life of the head of state, adding that Russia reserves the right to retaliate how and when it sees fit.
