CIS consultations on international information security to be held in Moscow — diplomat

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Interdepartmental consultations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states on international security will be held in Moscow in November or December of this year, Russian Foreign Ministry’s senior adviser to the Department of International Information Security Dmitry Stepanov said, speaking at a session at the Russian Public Chamber on Tuesday.

"The second round of interdepartmental consultations of the CIS member states on international information security with participation of all interested ministries and agencies will be held on the basis of the Moscow branch of the CIS Executive Committee in November-December of this year," he said.

Stepanov recalled that "interdepartmental consultations are regularly held within the CIS, such interdepartmental consultations were held on June 23 in Minsk on the basis of the CIS Executive Committee."
