MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. The Russian-American relations are currently in lamentable state, Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov said on Russian TV Wednesday, adding that these relations have approached a dangerous threshold.

"I would rather start from the most important thing: to try to understand why the Russian-American relations are in such lamentable state today. […] To simply say that relations between Russia and the US have approached a dangerous line is to say nothing," he said.
