Russia’s trade turnover with CIS countries rises to $112 bln in 2024 — Putin

The Russian leader emphasized the critical importance of the fact that the trade turnover structure is consistently improving

DUSHANBE, October 10. /TASS/. Russia’s trade turnover with the CIS countries grew by 7% in 2024, reaching $112 bln, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State.

"Regarding economic cooperation, the trade turnover between Russia and the CIS countries [in 2024] increased by 7%, reaching $112 bln," Putin said.

The Russian President emphasized the critical importance of the fact that the trade turnover structure is consistently improving.

"Moreover, this improvement is driven by growth in the segment of high value-added products. I would like to highlight this - it is, so to speak, a factual reality. Year after year, the quality of our trade turnover is steadily advancing," the Russian leader stressed.
