Vostok Investments acquires stake in Ozon online retailer

As a result of the transaction, Vostok Investments acquired the right to hold 59.83 mln ordinary stocks and one Class A stock in Ozon, which amounts to about 28% of the total number of Ozon stocks

MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Vostok Investments acquired the stake held in the Russian online retailer Ozon from Baring Vostok investment funds, transaction participants said.

"Vostok Investments holding purchased the stake of Ozon stocks from Baring Vostok international funds. As a result of the transaction, Vostok Investments acquired the right to hold 59.83 mln ordinary stocks and one Class A stock in Ozon, which amounts to about 28% of the total number of Ozon stocks," Ozon informed.

The acquisition of the stake in Ozon took part within the framework of a stage of a comprehensive transaction related to Baring Vostok division into two independent companies, the investment holding said.

"Vostok Investments continue working now on the technical closure of the transaction with funds, as a result of which it will also become the owner of other Russian assets comprised in the investment portfolio of Baring Vostok funds," the holding added.
