Cabinet, businesses and trade-unions to ink new agreement soon — Putin

MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. A new trilateral agreement between the government, employers and trade-unions will be signed soon, with the deal expected to lay out how many jobs will be needed in the future and develop training programs, President Vladimir Putin said.

"The signing of the next trilateral general agreement among the government, employers and trade-unions is slated for the near future," the President said at the 12th congress of the Russian Federation of Independent Trade-Unions.

"A forecast for how many jobs will be needed in the country, the development of targeted education programs, popularization of blue-collar trades and greater benefits for laborers" are among the deal’s priorities, Putin noted.

"I definitely look forward to your fruitful cooperation in all these areas. Especially as they are an integral part of the forthcoming large-scale effort to achieve the nation’s development goals," Putin added when addressing participants in the meeting.
