Positive Technologies posts 32-fold increase in 9M net profit to $34 mln

It is reported that gross profit climbed 2.21-fold in 9M, whereas gross margin added 3 percentage points to 87%

MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/. Net profit of Positive Technologies soared 32-fold in January-September 2022 year-on-year to 2.1 bln rubles ($34 mln), the company’s press service told TASS.

"In nine months of 2022, net profit amounted to 2.1 bln rubles, up 32-fold. Net profit of Positive Technologies in nine months is already higher than FY 2021 net profit," the press service said.

Q3 2022 net profit totaled 1.7 bln rubles ($27 mln), a seven-fold increase year-on-year, due an expansion of business, an increase in sales and client base, growth of gross profit, and expenditure control, the company explained.

EBITDA reached 2.6 bln rubles ($42 mln) in nine months of 2022, up from 0.6 bln rubles in the same period last year, while 9M 2022 revenue equaled 7 bln rubles ($114 mln), up by 115% year-on-year.

Gross profit climbed 2.21-fold in 9M, whereas gross margin added 3 percentage points to 87%, the company’s press service added.

Adjusted net profit lost 10% in nine months of 2022 to 1.1 bln rubles ($18 mln).
