MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Fitch Ratings has withdrawn the long-term and short-term ratings of the Russian airline Aeroflot after affirming them at "CC", the international rating agency announced on its website on Wednesday.
"Fitch has withdrawn all of Aeroflot's ratings for commercial reasons. Fitch will no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage of the company," the agency said.
Fitch noted that the decision to withdraw these ratings was made prior to its announcement on 23 March that it intended to withdraw all Russia-related ratings for sanctions-related reasons.
On March 29, the agency announced the withdrawal of the ratings of 27 Russian banks, four affiliated companies and SPV companies related to them.
