MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov explained the new special measures in the country's economy by the hostile nature of external actions against it and the need to minimize risks.
"There are certain actions of hostile nature that are trying to undermine the integrity of our economy. Under these conditions, the measures are being taken that will help minimize risks, consequences, and insure us against rocking the economy," he said.
According to him, since these unfriendly measures are unprecedented, "in such conditions it is necessary to act firmly, deliberately, and clearly".
