MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. Self-propelled Gvozdika artillery of the battlegroup North destroyed Ukrainian military equipment and infantry and disrupted an ammunition delivery near the border in the Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Crews of self-propelled Gvozdika howitzers of the 34th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade (Mountain Brigade) of the battlegroup North, acting in cooperation with forward reconnaissance teams and drone operators, carry out precision strikes on fortifications, sites of congregating enemy manpower and combat equipment, strongpoints and observation posts and prevent the resupply of ammunition to Ukrainian forces. Fire strikes are carried out at ranges of several tens of kilometers. Firing takes place both from closed firing positions and directly without prior preparation. This time the artillerymen of the separate guards motorized rifle brigade of the battlegroup North destroyed Ukrainian military equipment, artillery guns and infantry, and additionally disrupted a resupply of ammunition near the border area of the Kursk Region," it said in a statement.
According to the statement, following the confirmation that the Ukrainian forces were eliminated, the artillery crews promptly left their firing positions and changed their locations, preventing the enemy from detecting themselves.
