Ukraine’s losses in Russia’s North and Dnepr battlegroups’ zones reach 140 servicemen

MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Forces of Ukraine have lost up to 140 servicemen in the area of responsibility of Russia’s North and Dnepr battlegroups, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"In the direction of Kharkov, units of Russia’s North battlegroup inflicted losses on formations of the motorized infantry brigade and the territorial defense brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of the settlements of Metallovka, Granov, and Volchansk in the Kharkov region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 25 servicemen, one infantry fighting vehicle, one armored combat vehicle, four vehicles, and three artillery pieces,"the ministry said.

It was noted that the units of Russia’s Dnepr battlegroup inflicted losses on the personnel and equipment of the mechanized, mountain assault, infantry brigades, two coastal defense brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and two territorial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements Pyatikhatki, Novodanilovka, Stepovoye, Kamenskoye, Lobkovoe in the Zaporozhye region, Antonovka and Veletskoye in the Kherson region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 115 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, four cars, an electronic warfare station, and an ammunition depot.
