Andrey Marochko noted that Russian forces had "slightly advanced" in the northern and southern parts of Chasov Yar

LUGANSK, December 21. /TASS/. Russian forces are in control of over half of the city of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"Our troops took more than half of Chasov Yar in quite a swift operation. Now, the enemy is trying to regroup to prevent our forces from advancing," he said.

The expert noted that Russian forces had "slightly advanced" in the northern and southern parts of Chasov Yar.

Marochko told TASS on December 6 that the Russian army was in control of about 40% of the city.
