Russian top brass posts clip of Kalibr missiles hammering Ukrainian military sites

The goals of the massive strike were achieved and all the missiles accurately hit the designated targets

MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. The Russian Defense Ministry uploaded video footage showing a salvo launch of Kalibr cruise missiles in a massive strike by long-range precision weapons against Ukrainian military command sites and the associated energy infrastructure.

The video shows the launch of at least three Kalibr cruise missiles from a Project 11356 frigate in the daytime.

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported earlier on Wednesday that Russian forces had delivered a massive strike by long-range high-precision weapons against Ukrainian military command sites and the associated energy infrastructure.

The goals of the massive strike were achieved and all the missiles accurately hit the designated targets, the general stressed.

The Kalibr (NATO reporting name: SS-N-27 Sizzler) is a Russian cruise missile engineered and produced by the Yekaterinburg-based Novator Design Bureau (part of the Almaz-Antey defense manufacturer). The Russian Armed Forces currently operate shipborne Kalibr-NK and submarine-launched Kalibr-PL missile modifications.
