MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. The team of incumbent Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, instigated by its US handlers, has ruined the country and turned it into a gray exclusion zone that Washington needs for isolating Europe from Russia, Viktor Medvedchuk, former leader of the Opposition Platform-For Life party, which is now banned in Ukraine, said.
Medvedchuk, who leads the Other Ukraine movement, said, "It was beneficial for the Americans to economically drown Europe and isolate it from the growing power of Russia, which is what they did. At the same time, Ukraine is not seen at all as a showcase of the West, its sole role being that of a gray exclusion zone. Zelensky has done everything to turn Ukraine into such a gray zone."
"He is no longer the president of Ukraine, but a dictator of the gray zone, where the law of the jungle rules everyday life and ordinary people are set as enemies against each other," Medvedchuk wrote in his column on the Smotrim.ru website, adding that the current Ukrainian leader’s unprofessionalism brought this state of affairs into being.
According to Medvedchuk, Zelensky does not understand that Ukraine was simply used as a disposable material. He pointed to the Ukrainian authorities’ complaints that the citizenry does not wish to die for the state.
"They are expected to defend Zelensky and his gang and the right of Ukraine to become a dumping ground for storing all kinds of hazardous wastes far away from the United States. It will be enough for each Ukrainian citizen to recall what the state has done for him, and this will bring him closer to understanding what Ukraine’s current state is all about. For an ordinary citizen, the Ukrainian state is a gang that robs him of his money, takes away his rights, humiliates him and makes him die for the sake of its own survival," he wrote.
Medvedchuk emphasized that, for the sake of money from the West, Zelensky has "sold out the fate of his people, banned any peace negotiations, and with slavish fealty kept repeating [the scripts] that his handlers from the Western intelligence services demanded he recite." At the same time, Medvedchuk writes, unlike the authorities in Kiev, Washington knows that Ukraine is no longer a viable state and, thus, will be giving it less and less money, if any at all.
"There are [sovereign] states in their own right and then there are reservations. What a reservation is like is very well known in the United States, in contrast to Ukraine. It’s only Zelensky who does not understand why the ‘palefaces’ are no longer inviting him, the ‘Great Chief,’ to have a glass of firewater in their company, and where his people and his land have vanished," Medvedchuk wrote.
He noted that the current Ukrainian authorities had already sold off the country’s national interests once and would not have the opportunity to do so again.
