US concerned by China’s possible aid to Russia on Ukraine — Nuland

Washington spoke about "frank conversations" with Beijing on this issue

MOSCOW, February 24. /TASS/. The United States is concerned over China’s possible assistance to Russia in the Ukrainian conflict, US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said in an interview with TASS.

"In the context of our concerns about whether China is going to contribute to the Russian war machine. <…>. We are having very frank conversations with China and we will continue to do so," Nuland said.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the Washington administration had information alleging that China was considering options of providing Russia with military assistance as well as helping it to evade sanctions.
